Please Note: All packages are priced per person. Should you elect a shared accommodation and community hall bath, 1440 will randomly pair you with a gender-specific roommate. Only private rooms have the option of a private bath. 1440 Multiversity is a smoke-free campus.

Program Description

Are you yearning to view your body in a new, loving light? You're invited to a weekend with the be.come project's founder, sought-after master movement instructor and LGBTQ+ advocate, Bethany C. Meyers. Gather in community to gain a deeper understanding of body-neutrality and how to implement movement in your life in a positive way.

Are you ready to vanquish societal beauty standards that have distorted our perceptions of self-worth? The be.come project is a body-neutral, love-yourself approach to boutique fitness. Blend Pilates, yoga, and rhythm work to gain strength and confidence with each session.

Learn and explore with 50-minute be.come classes led by Bethany, intuitive eating discussion with Whitney Hull-Benson, fireside chats, journaling, group sharing, and more. In a safe community, you'll work through topics like body image and diet culture.

Participants will leave with:

  • A true understanding of body-neutrality and how it can positively impact their everyday lives
  • An abundance of signature moves from the be.come project routines
  • One free month of the be.come project's online do-at-home movement routines guided by Bethany.

This weekend isn't about being perfect, or even leaving with everything figured out. It's about being okay with how you are and allowing growth to happen in its own time and way.

Bethany C. Meyers

Bethany C. Meyers is a New York City-based master instructor and the founder of the be.come project known for their body-neutral and inclusive approach to instruction. With over a decade of experience, Bethany has taught countless group classes and private clients, and trained numerous instructors. Aside from fitness, Bethany is an outspoken member and activist of the LGBTQIA+ community and a leader in women's empowerment.

Whitney Hull-Benson

Whitney Hull-Benson is a certified wholistic nutritionist and an advocate for radical body empowerment and mindful eating. She is committed to helping others release their diet mentality and become aligned with their body's intuition.

Things to Know/Schedule

Prerequisites

None required.

Experience Level

All levels and experiences are welcome, however participants should be able to hold a full plank position or kneeling plank position and do a kneeling lunge. All routines are no-impact and are pregnancy friendly

Special Details

Bring workout clothes and cozy items that make you feel good. Classes are done barefoot.
